On Saturday, January 31st over 1,000 members of Boston's legal community came together at the Museum of Fine Arts to change the lives of thousands of Boston residents in need. Raising over $650,000, this year's Adams Benefit will help fund community non-profits working to prevent homelessness, protect victims of domestic violence, advocate for those facing injustice and much more.
Without the generosity of our sponsors, donors and guests, none of this would be possible. More than 85 law firms, companies and organizations stepped up to financially support the Boston Bar Foundation's Adams Benefit this year, helping us exceed our fundraising goal. This event is the area's largest fundraiser for legal services, and 100% of proceeds will be used to fund direct grants for these hard working organizations. Watch the video and read the real life stories of clients positively impacted by the money raised at the John & Abigail Adams Benefit
The Boston Bar Foundation was proud to honor John Hancock with the 2015 BBF Public Service Award. A leader in the community, John Hancock was recognized for their sustained commitment to public service and specifically their efforts to improve the lives of Boston youth.
This year’s Adams Benefit had it all-- from contemporary paintings to ancient sculpture, pop violinists to dueling pianos, and a moving program of events. Relive all the moments through our full event album.
