Events

Each year, the Boston Bar Foundation raises funds through these signature events to support essential charitable activities.

  • Casino Night

Come roll the dice and take a chance on Boston's youth! On March 12th, 2015, the Boston Bar Foundation will once again transform into a two-story  Casino for the annual Casino Night for Summer Jobs fundraiser. Join us as we bring a little bit of Vegas here to Boston as 16 Beacon Street is taken over by casino games, live entertainment and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event benefit the M. Ellen Carpenter Fund which funds paid summer internship positions for Boston Public High School students through the BBA Summer Jobs Program. For information on sponsorships, please contact Erica Southerland at 617-778-1930.

The VIP reception will include hors d'oeuvres and a signature Fellows cocktail.
  • Late Night at the Museum

Thank you for attending the first ever Late Night at the Museum!  We were happy to welcome law students and new lawyers to the event and excited that so many guests stayed and joined in on the fun, for this special late night addition to the Adams Benefit. 100% of the proceeds from this event are used for direct grants to legal services organizations in our community. Without the generosity of our sponsors, donors and guests, none of this would be possible. We hope to see you all next year!

  • Passport to Pairings

Pairings website bannerThis June, the Boston Bar Foundation will be hosting a brand-new fundraiser. Passport to Pairings is an evening celebrating things that are better together, all in support of BBA Public Service.
  • John & Abigail Adams Benefit

On Saturday, January 31st over 1,000 members of Boston's legal community came together at the Museum of Fine Arts to change the lives of thousands of Boston residents in need. Raising over $650,000, this year's Adams Benefit will help fund community non-profits working to prevent homelessness, protect victims of domestic violence, advocate for those facing injustice and much more.

Without the generosity of our sponsors, donors and guests, none of this would be possible. This event is the area's largest fundraiser for legal services, and 100% of proceeds will be used to fund direct grants for these hard working organizations.
