Each year, the Boston Bar Foundation raises funds through these signature events to support essential charitable activities.

  • John & Abigail Adams Benefit

The annual John & Abigail Adams Benefit, which will take place on Saturday January 30th, 2016. The event is the area's largest fundraiser for legal services, and 100% of the proceeds from the evening will be used for direct grants to organizations that serve thousands of individuals and families struggling with issues such as homelessness, domestic violence and various forms of injustice. Join friends and colleagues this winter for a special evening at the Museum of Fine Arts to support the important work of the Boston Bar Foundation.

  • Society of Fellows Events

You are cordially invited to join the Boston Bar Foundation Society of Fellows for a Fall Open House event on Thursday, October 15th at 5:30pm at 16 Beacon Street. Attendees will enjoy an evening of food, drinks and mingling with other Fellows while learning more about the work of the BBF and the Society of Fellows program. This event is open to all current Fellows and BBA members.

  • Casino Night

Thank you for joining us for the 6th Annual Casino Night for Summer Jobs fundraiser. 200 people were on hand to 'bet the house' on the next generation of Boston's workforce! A great time was had by all - eating, drinking, playing and catching up with friends - all to support jobs for our city's deserving high school students. 20 companies demonstrated their commitment to Boston's youth through sponsorship of the event, contributing over $23,000 to the BBF (enough to put 6 teens to work this summer). Between sponsors, ticket sales and our silent auction the BBF raised nearly $35,000 to support the Summer Jobs program, and put 15 students to work this summer!  100% of the proceeds from Casino Night will go to the M. Ellen Carpenter Fund for Summer Jobs, which funds paid summer internships for Boston Public School Students at area non-profits, government offices and the courts through the BBA Summer Jobs Program.

  • Late Night at the Museum

Once again the BBF cordially invites law students and new lawyers to our Adams Benefit after event, Late Night at the Museum. Young lawyers and law students can purchase reduced priced tickets to join us for dessert and dancing from 9:00pm-12:30 am in the Shapiro Family Courtyard, featuring a DJ and an open bar. All attendees of the main event are invited to join us for this exciting new addition as we wrap up the evening in style!  100% of the proceeds from this event are used for direct grants to legal services organizations in our community.

  • Passport to Pairings

Thank you for joining us for the 2nd annual Passport to Pairings: An Evening to Benefit Public Service. Over 200 people turned out for the BBF event to benefit the public service projects of the BBA. The night was a success - the stations were crowded throughout the evening as guests sampled gourmet food and beverage pairings. Thanks to our committed donors and sponsors, the BBA will continue it's work assisting, guiding and reaching out to Boston's most underserved citizens.
